The college baseball season keeps rolling along. Sixteen teams advanced out of regionals to play in the eight super regionals.
Of the top eight national seeds, six have continued to play: No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Kentucky, No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 North Carolina, No. 7 Georgia and No. 8 Florida State. Three other national seeds have advanced as well, with No. 10 NC State, No. 12 Virginia and No. 15 Oregon State continuing to play.
There have also been some unranked teams that have taken down top 16 seeds to reach this phase. The most stunning unranked team to win was Greenville four-seed Evansville. Unranked squads UConn, Florida, Oregon, Kansas State and West Virginia have also battled through difficult roads to reach the supers.
Last year, five of the eight teams that arrived in Omaha did so as a top 16 seed, though the championship wound up being between the No. 2 and 5 teams, with No. 5 LSU claiming the 2023 title.
