K-Pop idol group RIIZE has unveiled the official light stick after retracting the previous design.

Previously, they released a coming soon poster for the light stick, only to be hit with a negative response from fans.
Fans felt the design looked similar to a light stick belonging to another group. Others felt that the hand gesture could be seen as an insult in come countries. After seeing the response, SM announced they would return with the official design in April.
The new and updated design showcased the group name RIIZE in the center with stars on both sides. They also announced that accessories for the fan light would release at a later date.
Netizens are a bit divided on the new design, but overall fans are glad that they didn’t have to settle with the previous hand light stick.
