Furthermore, through a Weverse statement, BIGHIT also expressed concern regarding the recent series of rumors and accused them of being “an organized effort to defame and slander BTS.”
This includes malicious slander against the artists, creation of rumors, spreading of false information, indiscriminate insults, and mockery that have crossed the line. The company views these actions as a serious infringement of the artists’ honor and, in addition to the usual legal responses, plans to appoint an additional law firm for a more rigorous response. Currently, malicious posts directed at the artists are being monitored in real-time and collected as evidence. The perpetrators will be dealt with severely without any leniency or settlement, applying a principle of zero tolerance.
