BLACKPINK‘s bond is one of a kind!
On April 20, Jennie posted a video of herself opening her latest collaboration with GENTLEMONSTER. Inside a large pink box was a white unicorn stuffed toy and an array of sunglasses from her latest “Jentle Salon” collection.
She sent this same PR box to many of her friends including her fellow BLACKPINK members.
Surprisingly, even Rosé posted about this partnership. There was a possibility that she would not do so considering she has an active contract with Saint Laurent for their “Spring 24 Eyewear Campaign.”
She matched their eyewear to her clothes in various public events this year. Some of her most recent posts on Instagram were photos of her wearing their sunglasses.
Rosé was able to find a way to support her friend while not going against her contract. She posted two Instagram Stories related to the “Jentle Salon” collection, with the first being the top of the PR box. She tagged Jennie’s Instagram handle and captioned it with “du-geun-du-geun” or the sound of one’s heartbeat.
The second Story was a cropped picture of the side of her face. Since she could not show a full photo of the GENTLEMONSTER sunglasses as she is a Saint Laurent ambassador, she highlighted the charm that came attached to it instead. It was none other than the capybara accessory that Jennie also emphasized in her own Instagram post.
Jennie is known to love capybaras, to the point where it is now one of the items that represent her.
This is not the first time Rosé has supported Jennie’s GENTLEMONSTER releases. She always made sure to post the PR package on her Instagram Stories to help spread the news about her friend’s release to her followers.
The “Jentle Salon” collection will go live on May 1.
