Actor Kim Soo Hyun is seeing new heights of fame and success with his latest K-Drama, Queen of Tears. Though he was already an A-lister in the industry, the show has undoubtedly brought him a surge of new fans from all over the world.
Earlier this week, the actor launched his official account on Bubble, a fan messaging service. This was the first time since Kim’s debut that he joined a one-to-one communication platform exclusively for fans.

Kim Soo Hyun kicked off his Bubble journey with heavy enthusiasm, asking fans to be considerate of him while he figured out the right way to use the platform. Things, however, started to look rough soon enough. On April 18, a fan posted some messages sent by the actor, where he was clearly struggling to figure out how to use the messaging service.
Uhm.
So.
This.
What.
How.
This is a bit…
Where to start
No…
— Kim Soo Hyun
Things only got more hilarious when fans started noticing that the messages they were sending to Kim Soo Hyun on Bubble were getting read at crazy hours. One fan wrote a post claiming that their message was read at around 2 a.m., while another said it happened to them at 6 a.m.
Soon enough, fans realized that the actor was genuinely trying to read every message that fans were sending to him. But this got overwhelming for Kim Soo Hyun pretty soon, who timidly confessed about it later in a new message.
Well…You know how if you send too many messages in one chat, it gets overloaded, and you can’t read them all…So, that.

He followed it up with a meme-esque picture of himself, cracking up fans even further.
Needless to say, netizens are both endeared by his antics, even though all it took was a messaging app to break down his entire system.
