Over ten fighters competing at UFC 300 have either held gold or are current champions in the octagon. Several others are Olympic medalists and have reached the top of the mountain in other promotions. They all compete under the same roof when the UFC comes to Las Vegas on April 13.
The event takes place at the T-Mobile Arena, the home of hockey and combat sports, and will air on ESPN+ PPV in the U.S.
The main event will be Alex Pereira defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Jamahal Hill.
Hill is a former light heavyweight champion who had to relinquish the belt after suffering from a torn Achilles tendon. “Sweet Dreams” faces a former UFC middleweight champion in Pereira, who also happens to be one of the most feared men in combat sports. While Hill is impressed by the resume of “Poatan,” he is ready to take down the Brazilian.
“Ya’ll think he is…and he is, he’s the two-division GLORY champion, two-division UFC champion, kickboxing great, hands of stone, bad man, just a monster, dangerous, scary dude. He’s all those things, but watch what I do to him,” Hill said via MMA Mania.

The co-main event will be Zhang Weili defending the UFC strawweight title against Xiaonan in an epic all-Chinese showdown. Xiaonan has won two straight and is ready to face the hard-hitting Zhang, a two-time champion.
Meanwhile, Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway, two prolific strikers, face off to determine the BMF Champion. Gaethje has won two straight, while Holloway is a former UFC featherweight champion known for volume shots.
