Netizens reacted to King Kong by Starship‘s response to Song Ha Yoon‘s bullying allegations.
On April 1, 2024, Song Ha Yoon was alleged to be a school bully. The allegations were sparked when, on this day, JTBC reported that a popular actress, “Ms. S,” had been accused of school violence.
Netizens Name “Marry My Husband” Song Ha Yoon As Alleged Bully In School Violence Accusations
A tip-off from the alleged victim claimed that they knew her in their second year of high school. Ms. S was in their third year then. They claimed that Ms. S had called them out of nowhere, asking them to go to a playground near a neighborhood apartment. As soon as they arrived, Ms. S allegedly began hitting them. Without letting them know why, Ms. S reportedly slapped them continuously for 90 minutes.
The news report was accompanied by an alleged photo of Ms. S with her face blurred out. Netizens were quick to uncover this as a photo of actress Song Ha Yoon.
Amid the growing criticism, King Kong by Starship hurriedly released a statement. In their statement, the agency denied the allegations and claimed that the actress had never met the accuser.
Hello, this is King Kong by Starship.
We are revealing our stance on the report about Song Ha Yoon.
We knew the seriousness of the allegations when we first became aware of them and therefore spoke with the accuser. We then asked to meet through text so that we could investigate the allegations but the accuser refused to do so. We then asked to speak on the phone but have yet to hear back.
As for their allegations, after speaking with the actress, we can confirm that they had never met and that the allegations are false.

Netizens reacted to the statement, with many expressing criticism. Netizens felt like the agency’s claims stating that they had never met couldn’t be true.
- If the allegations are true, Song Ha Yoon was born in 1986, meaning that they went to school 30 years ago. Would evidence still be around? But if it is true that Song Ha Yoon was expelled, it does give the allegations credence.
- So it means that we know she was part of a bad crowd and was expelled but we don’t know if she was a bully.
- This is going to get ugly.
- Then, are they claiming that the victim and her ex-boyfriend are conspiring together? Because her ex-boyfriend spoke on the phone in that report.
- I’m going to stay in the middle until more evidence appears.
- I mean, if it was fake, are you saying her schoolmates have been conspiring for 6 years? Lol, you guys are speaking nonsense… Currently all of her classmates are coming forward.
- It’s hard to believe that they had never met… What are they going to do when their lies are exposed?
Stay tuned for updates.
