K-Pop idol Woojin has opened up about his feelings on his past controversy, including his departure from Stray Kids.
On April 1, Woojin released a new video with the title “Reverse: Breaking The Silence.”
Along with speaking about his schedules and releasing music, Woojin indirectly spoke about the controversy that occurred at the start of his idol career. During the video, he explained that after “Experiencing that nonsense,” he wanted to speak more clearly about himself.
Woojin shared his thoughts about the controversy, referring to it as a “peculiar case” and how his silence or trying to ignore it actually intensified the situation.
He then added how despite trying to speak about the issue, comments ignored what he had to say and made harsh remarks.
It made him feel frustrated.
He even referred to the moment he had to leave Stray Kids, adding, “I feel terribly sorry about it.”
Woojin was honest when he said that, at the time, he focused on his own situation first.
The idol then apologized to everyone who was hurt or impacted by what happened at the time.
Woojin ended by saying that he wants to focus on his own music now and bring comfort and through his releases.
