Dispatch released a bombshell exposé on Korean football star Hwang Ui Jo.
On February 28, Dispatch attempted to piece together the many allegations surrounding Hwang Ui Jo in a timeline. According to the report, in 2021, Hwang Ui Jo filmed his then-girlfriend without consent and, in 2023, revealed to her that the video was leaked by his sister-in-law in 2023.
- Partner: I told you I didn’t want you filming me. I told you to delete it.
- Hwang: I deleted that video in 2021.
- Partner: Then did you film me in the first video?
- Hwang: In the apartment… And at the hotel…
Hwang Ui Jo then began receiving threats over photos of a naked woman on the phone in May 2023. In November, it would be revealed that the blackmailer would turn out to be his sister-in-law, prompting her to be arrested.
Dispatch then revealed that Hwang Ui Jo’s sister-in-law had deleted all evidence of her crimes on his phone.
Prosecutors believe that she had done this to delete evidence pointing to her leaking videos showing Hwang Ui Jo engaging in prostitution and illegally filming his partners.

Dispatch would further report that according to Hwang Ui Jo’s sister-in-law, the player had engaged in prostitution and had shared illegal videos, but all evidence of this has been deleted.
Meanwhile, Hwang Ui Jo’s sister-in-law will begin the fourth round of trials for her alleged crimes today. Hwang Ui Jo’s brother is also expected to attend as a witness. On February 20, the footballer’s sister-in-law admitted to her crimes, stating that she wanted to make Hwang Ui Jo depend on her.
