Optus Stadium in Australia will have the tall task of holding court over several WWE rivalries and housing the dangerous Elimination Chamber. WWE’s Elimination Chamber event comes to Perth on February 24, the first WWE event in Australia since 2018.
Wrestling fans know that Cody Rhodes will once again challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Bayley will challenge Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Title. But what about the Women’s World Title or the World Heavyweight Title? The demonic steel structure known as the Elimination Chamber will determine the top contenders for those belts.
The men’s match is Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul for a chance to face Seth Rollins. The women’s match will be Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez. Whoever wins the Women’s World Title match between hometown hero Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax will defend the title against one of those women.
Also on the card, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. In non-wrestling action, Grayson Waller, another Aussie, will have Rhodes and Rollins on “The Grayson Waller Effect.” Will Roman Reigns or The Rock show up and cause a scene?

Becky Lynch survives women’s Elimination Chamber match
Naomi and Becky Lynch began proceedings in this Elimination Chamber but didn’t exchange many early blows.
Once Tiffany Stratton emerged from her pod, the match became a whole lot more interesting. She was full of energy, highlighted by a double boot kick.
Lynch was nearly eliminated by Stratton three times but managed to survive.
Liv Morgan was the next fighter introduced and came flying out, exhibiting her rough and tough style.
She slammed Stratton between two sets of pods before attempting to submit her on the fence.
First elimination: Naomi
Naomi flew off the top rope but Stratton avoided contact before eliminating her competitor.

Raquel Rodriguez was then brought into the action and wasted no time showing off her power, smashing Stratton into the fence.
The fight mellowed out a little before Bianca Belair was introduced as the final fighter.
She targeted Stratton straight away, followed by a big vertical suplex move on Lynch.
Belair continued her rampage by nearly eliminating Rodriguez.
Second elimination: Tiffany Stratton
Moments after launching herself from the top of the pod and taking out three competitors, Stratton was pinned down by Morgan.

Third elimination: Raquel Rodriguez
Belair’s energy saw her eliminate Rodriguez after quickly pinning her down.
However, she was caught off guard by Morgan, who slammed her into a pod.
The momentum shifted again though when Lynch took out Morgan and Belair simultaneously and executed a missile drop-kick.
Fourth and fifth eliminations: Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan
Morgan pinned Belair to eliminate her and seemingly take control of the battle, but Lynch swooped in from behind to eliminate Morgan.
A great example of awareness and experience.
Lynch will now fight for the women’s title at Wrestlemania.
An engaging Elimination Chamber with plenty of ebbs and flows.

The Kabuki Warriors retain Women’s Tag Team title
Indi Hartwell – alongside Candice LeRae – put on a show in her home country, but couldn’t get the win against the reigning champions.
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) were given a scare early by the local talent and were undeniably on the back foot.
Hartwell took on the duo by herself and gave 50,000+ Aussies in attendance something to cheer for.
