LE SSERAFIM member Sakura recently revealed that Bang Si Hyuk, the chairman of HYBE Labels, offered the group an apology during the making process of their latest mini album, EASY.
The mini album was released on February 19, KST, and immediately gained positive responses worldwide. The eponymous title track’s music video surpassed 10 million YouTube views in just 13 hours, while the entire album recorded over 780,000 physical copies sold on Hanteo on its first day of release.
The tracks on the album have been receiving praise from listeners, many of whom were impressed by the increased range of the idol group with songs from different genres. But the process of recording such a versatile album was not easy, as testified by Sakura.
During a showcase at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on February 19, KST, the LE SSERAFIM member recalled the entire recording process, recalling that Bang Si Hyuk, the HYBE chairman and the executive producer of LE SSERAFIM, offered the group an advance apology, as he was about to make them work much harder and longer on the vocals for EASY.
Producer Bang Si Hyuk apologized (to us) in advance, saying that the recording this time would take a long time since the vocals needed to be good on this album.

The recording process did turn out to be intense, and the singer admitted that she had to re-record some of the songs. She even received rap lessons for the first time!
It was nearing the end of the recording. However, I worked even harder to re-record. I also received rap lessons for the first time.

It looks like Bang Si Hyuk pushed all the members to give their absolute best to this album, and dare we say, it shows!
