Baltimore’s rising.
The Ravens have hit their stride in recent weeks, stringing together three straight wins to climb atop the AFC mountaintop.
They haven’t all been convincing — Baltimore needed an overtime punt return to vanquish the Rams last weekend. But they are showing improvement across all parts of the game; Lamar Jackson has looked a cut above in Todd Monken’s style, while the Ravens’ defense is one of the best in football. Oh, and when you have Justin Tucker, you have perhaps the sport’s greatest-ever kicker.
Simply put, there’s a whole lot to like about the Ravens.
That’s not to say they’re infallible, though. The Jaguars (8-5) are hoping to follow the blueprint that the Browns, Steelers and Colts laid out earlier in the campaign. And the Jaguars will be hoping that some home cooking will help them snap a two-game skid, both of which of come to other AFC North opponents.
