BTS just performed at the 64th GRAMMY Awards and there were many noteworthy things about it! One of the most highly talked about scenes was the surprise cameo appearance of none other than American singer Olivia Rodrigo.
As part of a mini skit prior to them singing “Butter,” V visited Olivia and sat next to her in the crowd, laying eyes on her alone.
He leaned in close to whisper something…
…and whatever he said gave her a shock.
He magically brought out a card from behind her hair and threw it towards Jungkook on the stage.
This card signified the opening of the performance, with Jungkook using it as a key to start up the stage.
As far as GRAMMY interactions go, Olivia and V were definitely one of the most memorable pairings!
The 64th GRAMMY Awards was held on April 4, 2022. BTS was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance while Olivia was nominated for Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, and Record of the Year.
