Alabama vs. Robert Morris live score, updates, highlights from 2025 March Madness Round 1 game

A year ago, Alabama made it to the Final Four.

The Crimson Tide attempt to go on another ride to at least the national semifinals and perhaps beyond as they start the NCAA Tournament. Alabama, seeded No. 2 in the East Region, takes on Robert Morris.

Led by consensus first-team All-American Mark Sears, who is averaging 19.2 points per game, the Tide (25-8) still have the weapons to go far once more. But Alabama may be entering the NCAA’s without one of its top players, Grant Nelson, who suffered a knee injury during last week’s SEC Tournament and his status moving forward is uncertain.

Robert Morris (26-8) is making its first NCAA appearance in 10 years as the Colonials punched their ticket by winning the Horizon League tournament. They are led by the conference’s Player of the Year in 6-foot-9 forward Alvaro Folgueiras, who is averaging 14.3 points per game.
