An exclusive report from South Korean news media Newsis confirmed that BTS‘s Suga is being represented by the same lawyer who took on the DUI case for former Super Junior member Kangin.
According to Newsis, Suga appeared at the Yongsan Police Station on August 23, 2024 (KST) for his investigation summons.
BTS’s Suga Speaks To Media At Police Station About His Drunk Driving Incident
Newsis reported that Suga was accompanied by “Lawyer A” from a reputable law firm at the time of arrival. This former prosecutor-turned-lawyer is known for handling many of the criminal cases involving entertainment industry figures—including DUIs of high-profile personalities like Kangin.
SBS reported that Suga’s investigation went on for about 3 hours. Upon his exit, Suga apologized once again and swiftly left the area.
