Cleveland Browns fans are very familiar with the jersey with all of the quarterbacks’ names on it. There are so many quarterbacks in Browns’ history. Three recent backup quarterbacks stepped up and helped the team in key moments and are beloved by fans long after their Browns’ playing days.
Listening to a little @YahooFantasy and heard @MattHarmon_BYB mention the #Browns 38th starting QB in Mr @jeffdriskel and “the jersey”

Let’s catch up with these three to see where they are now.
1. Case Keenum
Case Keenum, 36, was Baker Mayfield’s backup in 2020 and 2021 and once Mayfield was traded, Keenum was traded also. After a stint with the Buffalo Bills backing up Josh Allen, Texas-native Keenum is now with the Houston Texans mentoring another young talented quarterback, C.J. Stroud. Keenum has never lost his sense of humor evidenced by videos he did as a member of the Bills.

2. Jacoby Brissett
Jacoby Brissett, 31, kept the Browns afloat during Deshaun Watson’s suspension in 2022. He earned the respect of his teammates for handling all of the quarterback uncertainty the Browns had in 2022 with ease and class. Brissett is now with the New England Patriots (reunited with former Browns OC Alex Van Pelt). He is working alongside rookie Drake Maye. For Brissett, returning to New England is a full-circle moment because he was selected by the Patriots in 2016 with the 91st overall pick in the draft.

3. Joe Flacco
Joe Flacco was the magic man in 2023, and Browns fans were sad that the team did not re-sign him. Flacco is now in Indianapolis mentoring Anthony Richardson. No matter where else Flacco plays in his career, he will be considered a Browns legend for coming off of his couch and leading the Browns down the stretch and into the playoffs last season.
