Kentucky and Texas A&M each had thrilling wins on Saturday, remaining undefeated at the 2024 Men’s College World Series.
As a result, the two SEC rivals will clash in the double-elimination round on Monday, June 17.
The No. 3 Aggies (50-13) have a powerful offense led by Jace LaViolette and Braden Montgomery. The two combined to hit 55 home runs and knock in 162 RBIs. Those aren’t the only players who get the job done, however.
Texas A&M has three more qualified batters hitting above the .300-mark, including Hayden Schott with a .331 average. He’s part of a team that’s produced 549 runs on 647 hits.

Evan Aschenbeck and Ryan Prager lead the Aggies’ pitching staff with 190 strikeouts combined.
For Kentucky, watch out for Mitchell Daly who hit the walk-off blast in Kentucky’s 10-inning win over NC State on Saturday. He went 2-for-5 in the Wildcats’ opening game.
Nick Lopez and Ryan Waldschmidt are Kentucky’s two top threats, both batting at least .340 on the season. Pair them with Ryan Nicholson’s 22 home runs, and the Wildcats have a formidable offense to compete.
