    Talks of the relationship between Lee Jae Wook and aespa‘s Karina first surfaced when Dispatch published an exclusive report on the couple at the end of February.

    The pair was quickly confirmed to be happily dating, but the backlash that came with going public with the relationship forced Karina to apologize.

    The caption is taken to imply that while Karina, Hyeri, and Han So Hee are pretty, they’ve picked partners, Lee Jae Wook and Ryu Jun Yeol, who are unattractive.

    Many netizens defended Lee Jae Wook, while some continued to put Ryu Jun Yeol down.

    Others pointed out the inappropriateness of the post; however, those comments were few and far between compared to the ones that have continued to disrespect the actors.
