  • Every year, hundreds of college football players travel to Indianapolis for the NFL Combine to prove their mettle to front offices ahead of the draft.

This year’s rendition of the showcase is set to include 321 prospects looking to put their skills and abilities on display.

A committee votes on all draft-eligible players to select the field for the combine — and to no surprise, larger and more successful programs tend to score the most invitations. Last season, Alabama led the way with 13 invites, followed by Georgia with 12. No other school had more than 10.

A new team takes the spot in 2024 — and plenty more programs broke double digits. Here’s what you need to know about which schools received the most invitations to this year’s NFL Combine.

Which school has the most 2024 NFL Combine invites?

Reigning national champion Michigan leads the way in 2024 with not just the most invites this year, but the most since at least 2003, according to NFL Research. The Wolverines received 18 invites to the showcase, which is two more than next highest on record — LSU in 2020.

CFP runner-up Washington will have 13 representatives at the combine, while Florida State will have 12. In total, seven programs received double-digit invites.

The SEC led all conferences with 75, followed by the Big Ten’s 60 and the Pac-12’s 52.

Here are the top schools represented in this year’s NFL Combine:

    School Invites
    Michigan 18
    Washington 13
    Florida State 12
    Georgia 11
    Texas 11

    Ohio State 8
    Oregon 7
    Clemson 6
    Kentucky 6
    TCU 6
    Utah 6
    Illinois 6

Who has the most NFL Combine invites in one year?

Michigan set a new record this season with 18 invites, beating out LSU’s 16 in 2020. The Wolverines’ total of 18 marks the highest total since at least 2003, according to NFL Research.

Six other programs have reached 14 invites in a single season.
